Martin Depper started on pole position once again; however a failing clutch meant that he had to retire in the early stages of the race. The lead was handed over to novice David Shepherd, who secured his third win of the season after fending off the more experienced opposition. ‘Boy Wonder Craggs’ produced an inspirational performance after he got a glimpse of the young ladies handing out the trophies in Round 9. Having started 7th on the grid, Craggs was able to jump up the order when a car span at the Bridgestone hairpin in the early stages of the race. He crossed the line in 2nd closely followed by a hard charging Gary Kounnis in 3rd. Stephen made his way up to 8th having started the race in 11th.

In S Class Forster quickly took the lead from his 2nd position grid slot. Having overtaken Sayle, Meli was soon on Forster’s rear bumper. Forster made a rare error, allowing Meli through to take his maiden S Class victory.
