Stephen Campbell Stephen Campbell has been competing in the John Cooper Challenge, a one make racing series for the BMW MINI Cooper and Cooper S Works.

Since entering the Championship in 2002 at 17 years of age, Stephen has achieved a number of impressive results. 2005 has been his most successful season to date, in which he achieved three wins and a total of five podium finishes. Out of a total of 20 Club Class competitors, he finished the season with 175 points, to finish fourth in the Club Class Championship.

Stephen Campbell's John Cooper Challenge race winning car has now been sold and may feature in the 2007 MINI Challenge.

Specially built by John Cooper Works in 2002, the 133BHP uprated MINI Cooper Works features a comprehensive performance and safety specification. The FIA safety features include full roll cage, driver & passenger Corbeau Race Seats with 5-point harnesses, internal / external electrical isolators and plumbed-in / detachable fire extinguishers.

The car has recently had a full rebuild and has been finished in BMW Motorsport Interlagos Blue metallic. With over £15,000 worth of motorsport upgrades it is one of the finest examples of a race winning John Cooper Works Clubsport.
